How to care for your HydroShield Surfaces
Congratulations with your recent purchase of Hydro-Shield. Hydro-Shield aims
to be one of the leaders in surface protections and restoration. By
selecting Hydro-Shield to protect your surfaces you have ensured long
lasting beauty and durability.Maintaining HydroShield on Your Glass
Surfaces
Using a squeegee or clean cotton towel and water, simply wipe the surface
clean. If the dirt is stubborn, using a diluted mild cleaner such as simple
green should make your surfaces sparkle. Occasionally, dirt may build up and
require a light scrub with a white 3M pad available through your maintenance
supplier or through our website. Each of these cleaning methods are safe for
your HydroShield protected surfaces. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or
abrasive pads other than a white 3M pad. If windows are exposed to sprinkler
over spray, and have a mineral buildup, simply blade the minerals of the
Hydro-Shield surface with a 6 inch window cleaning blade. Blading does not
harm HydroShield.
Harsh and Expensive Cleaning solutions Are No Longer Needed
Many products available through suppliers and on supermarket shelves
contain acids that can harm interior and exterior building surfaces, as well
as the environment. Some products may have health and bodily contact warning
on the label as well. Products that include an acid are designed to, among
other tasks, extract minerals and dirt from surface pores, fractures or
crevices. Surfaces coated with HydroShield do not require harsh cleaning
solutions or methods. Any product that includes any acids or a combination
of any acids will void your warranty. Read all product labels carefully!
What to Expect with HydroShield
HydroShield protected surfaces still get dirty. Any dirt, dust or other
agent that normally causes a surface to get dirty will continue to make that
surface dirty. The Hydro-Shield surface is up to 75% easier to clean; the
dirt and grime no longer penetrate the surface, but sit on top of the
HydroShield coating. Surfaces such as windows may stay cleaner much longer
than before. Hydro-Shield coating protects the natural beauty, clarity and
luster of glass, granite, ceramic and tile. |
