HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER is a highly advanced stain barrier and is recommended for protecting all natural stone. It is designed to penetrate deeply into the stone and create an invisible, long lasting barrier to safely repel stains, dirt, oil, food, mold and mildew; even after repeated washing.

Uses

HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER is a water-based fluoropolymer that invisibly protects natural stone surfaces. The invisible barrier virtually locks out oils, grease, water and dirt, while making cleaning easier. Surfaces repel water so mold and mildew do not have a chance to grow in
grout joints. You can use HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER with confidence indoors and out on all stone. HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER is designed for: marble, limestone, terrazzo, travertine, serpentine, granite onyx, sandstone, clay and saltillo, concrete, unglazed tile, brick,
masonry and grout.

Preparation

The surface should be clean, dry, and free of waxes or other surface coatings. New cement and grout joints should be allowed to fully dry prior to application.

Application

Since HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER is a water based product, it does not have the environmental and health hazards associated with other sealers that are formulated with harmful solvents. It has a low odor and is safe and easy to use. Due to differences in the structure and chemical nature of different stones, always test HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER in a
small inconspicuous area to determine the effect for your particular use. Apply the seal in an even and generous layer onto the stone surface with a new clean brush, lambs wool applicator, a dense sponge or a paint roller. Allow to soak and cure on the surface for at least 4 hours or overnight if possible. On polished stone, a residue or film may be visible on the surface. Remove this residue with water and sponge 2 hours after initial application. Very porous stone will soak up all the sealer and no cleaning is necessary. Very porous stone will require a second application after the first application had dried. HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER cures fully over a 24 hour period. The sealer contains no VOC. Quick and easy to apply, HydroShield UNIVERSAL STONE SEALER allows you to cover entire grout and tile surfaces and not worry about keeping the sealer within the grout lines. Unlike other products it does not leave a hard-to-remove white haze
on tile or stone surfaces. When the SEALER is properly applied to the stone surface, it does not darken, increase shine, or otherwise affect the original appearance of the stone surface
